I'm Camille Lindquist.
Small-town Idaho photographer, mommy, and educator with big dreams. Obsessed with: donuts, travel, books, and sci-fi.
Life wasn't always simple...
In truth, just a few years ago you could’ve found me totally wiped out exhausted as I finished up another $100 photography session and then edited images til 2 am before getting up at 6 with my baby (or 5, let’s be real).
I thought I’d landed my dream job, the creative outlet that would take us out of the teacher-family poverty line, but my dream had turned into a low-paying over-worked nightmare.
At the age of 25, I bought a $500 camera with our tax refunds. (when you’re a family of 5 living on 30k a year, you get a good chunk of change back at tax time!)
I didn’t know then how much my world would change... that camera would be my one-way ticket out of poverty and fear.
Today you can find me juggling 2 businesses while living my dream life in the Boise, Idaho area - surrounded by my family, just how I like it.
I’m probably sipping herbal tea with classical music playing in the background and dreaming of ways I can help other photographers and small businesses grow profitable, driven, unique businesses that allow them to make more (live more) and work less.
Do you want to know what gets me really fired up?
Making people feel, own, and celebrate their potential to do whatever it is they set their minds to. If I can be that influential person in your life that says: “you’ve got this” while the rest of the world is telling you "you’re crazy…" then I’ll consider myself a success.
